From 25 September 2026, the Ministerial Decree of 2 September 2021 comes into force, requiring the maintenance and inspection of fire protection equipment to be entrusted exclusively to qualified maintenance technicians certified by the Italian Fire Brigade. ITECH has completed the training process required by the regulations and is fully qualified to operate in compliance with the new decree.

For residential environments, we install smoke detection systems with optical detectors designed to identify the early signs of a fire, even when temperatures are still low and smoke is the first indication of danger.
Offices and archives
In environments with a high concentration of people and paper materials, smoke detectors provide maximum sensitivity. Addressable systems operating on a single cable loop offer cost-effective installation and centralised alarm management.
Schools and public buildings
For facilities used by a wide range of people, we install addressable systems with dedicated control panels, capable of managing separate zones and activating area-specific evacuation procedures.
Apartment buildings
In multi-residential buildings, we design detection systems covering common areas — basements, garages, stairwells — with detectors selected according to the specific risks associated with each space.
Kitchens and technical rooms
Where steam, cooking fumes, or dust are present, smoke detectors may generate false alarms. In these environments, we install heat detectors, which are more reliable and calibrated to the actual operating conditions of the area.
Garages and boiler rooms
Carbon monoxide can build up silently, without visible flames. For these environments, we install CO detectors, essential for protection against both fire hazards and the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Conventional systems
Suitable for environments exposed to specific high-risk conditions, such as areas potentially affected by stray currents. A robust and reliable solution for applications requiring maximum resistance to interference.
Addressable systems
Ideal for residential and commercial buildings: they operate on a single cable loop, helping to reduce installation costs while providing centralised management. Each detector can be individually identified, enabling fast and precise intervention.
Fire Brigade-certified maintenance
From 25 September 2026, only technicians certified by the Italian Fire Brigade may carry out maintenance on fire protection equipment. ITECH is fully qualified and provides services in compliance with the Ministerial Decree of 2 September 2021.
